Day 4: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Characters Introduced:

• Dr. Besson (Thomas Vincent Kelly): The poor CTU doctor who is about to have a real difficult night.
• Nicole (Dagmara Dominczyk): Why are all the female terrorists on 24 always sleeping with someone to get the job done?
• Joseph Fayed (Adam Alexi-Malle): Poor member of another one of Marwan’s cells who gets to martyr himself because Dina shows up at his door.

Key Moments:

• Jack and Paul are being choppered back to CTU. Paul goes straight into surgery, while Michelle and Tony bring Jack a name they found in the evidence.
• Michelle is ready to send a team to pick up Fayed but Jack thinks sending Dina undercover would work better.
• Nicole takes a pilot hostage and says that his family is being held and will be released if he does what he is told.
• Jack goes to Dina with his plan. He will get Behrooz and her into witness protection if she agrees to his undercover plan. The plan is she will take Jack as a hostage to Fayed.
• Anderson shows up to take the pilot from Nicole.
• Tony tells Michelle that Edgar is spacing out over his mother’s death. Michelle asks about Chloe and is told that Driscoll forced her out. She calls Chloe who is awesomely hanging out in her pajamas. This scene could only have been better if Chloe was holding a teddy bear at the time. Michelle asks her to come back but she declines. When Michelle says that it is for Jack, that is Chloe’s magic button and she agrees. We get a sweet shot of Chloe smirking after hanging up the phone.
• Jack and Dina pull up to Fayed’s home. In reason infinity that Jack is better than you and me, he pulls out his blade and stabs himself in the side. Dina freaks out but Jack says it needs to look real. She takes Jack to Fayed’s door. He doesn’t trust her but she gives him the whole spiel. Fayed knocks Jack out and calls Marwan. Marwan tells Fayed to bring them to him.
• The pilot drives onto the Air Force Base. He pulls over and Anderson gets out of hiding and kills the pilot. He then cuts off the pilot’s finger.
• Dr. Besson was able to remove one of the bullets but there is a second one resting against Paul’s vertebrae.
• CTU tracks Dina as she drives Fayed and Jack around. When they move into a tunnel, Fayed has her pull over and Dina and Jack are tossed in a van. Fayed drives out alone and Tony realizes this. CTU moves in but Fayed has C4 and he takes out many CTU agents along with himself.
• Dina and Jack are brought in front of Marwan. He asks her to prove he loyalty by killing Jack. She takes the gun but points it at Marwan. Click and that is the end of Dina as she is dragged into a back room and shot.
• Anderson is walking freely through the Air Force base.

Ridiculousness:

• Where the hell did Anderson hide in the car? The security guy at the checkpoint looked in the trunk and backseat but then he just popped out of the backseat. This was a regular car so I doubt there was a hidden compartment.
