Characters Introduced:

• Habib Marwan (Arnold Vosloo): The only yearlong villain in the history of 24. He will be the man they chase until the end of the day, no "the princess is in another castle" in Day 4.

Returning Characters:

• Tony Almeida (The final episode of season 3)

Key Moments:

• Jack needs to head to the security firm that ran the hotel party for Audrey to identify the man she recognizes. Audrey decides to join him to expedite matters.
• Curtis says the first plant could melt down in 3 hours.
• Marianne finds out where Jack and Audrey are heading. She calls Henry with the information and he tells her to cover her tracks within CTU.
• Behrooz calls his mother for help but before Dina can get out of the house Navi confronts her. Blah blah blah it’s tough to be a terrorist family in this day and age.
• Edgar discovers a way to override the override. His plan is dangerous and his reaction to having to bring his plan in front of Driscoll and Heller is hilarious.
• Richard’s torture is over and he is sent home. Don’t worry he will be back.
• Navi’s plan is to have Dina bring him Behrooz, but she can’t go through with it. Navi planned for this and once Dina picks up Behrooz he and his thugs open fire on her car. Dina is hit and Behrooz drives away.
• With this failure, Navi goes to Marwan for help and resources.
• Jack and Audrey arrive at the security company. Marianne straight up calls Jack to tell him to send any information straight to her.
• When Audrey finally finds an image of the man, Jack also notices that all of the guards are down. 2 guys burst in and kill the tech helping Audrey, Jack takes them down and, finally after all these years, Jack is able to work the computer on his own and download the data. Jack and Audrey run and hide. He says they can’t trust CTU and calls for help. When Audrey asks whom he is calling, Jack says, “the only person he can trust right now.” What a fucking line!
• Keeler and CTU discuss the 17 plants that they do not have control of.
• Jack and Audrey make it to the garage but once they arrive the door opens and more thugs walk in. Once the firefight begins, Jack kills a couple but he runs out of ammo. He waits to jump the remaining thugs using his gun as a club, but they are saved by the arrival of Tony Almeida.
• Edgar hacks away and we watch a pretty graphic of the United States like we understand what is happening. Eventually a bunch of red nuclear signs turn green, but they end up with 6 plants that have already been overridden and can’t be hacked.

Ridiculousness:

The return of Tony is too awesome to make funny of anything else
