• Paul Raines (James Frain): Audrey’s estranged husband. He will become another in a line of people who become more badass by just hanging around Jack. This doesn’t mean he gets to live a long life.

Key Moments:

• Now it’s time for Jack Bauer super-soldier as he commences his Army of One assault to free Heller. Jack kills 3 guards outside of the site right off the bat He then captures another guard and makes him point out where Heller is on his PDA. He spares the guards life by knocking him unconscious. Jack hears Audrey plead for her father’s life. He signals her with a flashlight but Audrey tells him to get her father first. Jack slips her a knife for protection, now that’s love. YOU ARE WASTING TIME JACK! He gets into the room where they are staging Heller’s trial. He shows himself to Heller and gives him a signal. When a gun is about to be put to Heller’s head, he rocks back in his chair and lies down. Jack pops up and kills the 3 guards around Heller. He kills 1 more on his way to freeing Heller. Jack and Heller move to free Audrey. Jack kills another guard in the hall. Audrey is not in her cell. Jack and Heller run as a grenade is rolled at their feet. They end up outside and pinned down. Jack and Heller reload behind a car. Jack is hit in the vest but tells Heller to keep firing. Jack kills 3 guards in the shootout but they both run out of ammo. The marines arrive by helicopter and just sweep the area clean. Omar walks out of the building holding Audrey hostage. Nice showdown where Audrey pulls out her knife, Jack takes out a throwing knife, they look at each other, and Audrey stabs Omar in the leg and Jack throws his in his chest. A marine overkills with a few more bullets.
• Now that the nonsense is over, Heller is already back in his suit acting like the Secretary of Defense. Audrey tells Jack about the lone white dude she spotted but is interrupted by a phone call from Paul who is waiting for her at CTU.
• Navi sends Behrooz out with Tariq to bury Debbie’s body. The name Marwan is mentioned.
• While going through images of all the evidence at the construction site, Curtis spots the briefcase that was stolen from the train crash. He identifies that it came from the defense contractor, McLennen-Forster.
• Heller thanks CTU then moves into a briefing with Driscoll, Curtis, and Jack. He finds out that Richards has been interrogated the entire morning. He wants to see him but he is not that angry. Erin asks Jack to stay on in Ronnie’s position until the crisis is averted.
• Heller is brought to Richard. After they share nice hug, it goes right back to Richard whining and screaming. Heller is tired of this and authorizes Curtis to do whatever it takes to find out what Richard is lying about.
• Behrooz realizes that he has been brought out to dig his own grave.
• After going through images of all the dead bodies at the construction site, Audrey doesn’t find Henry but remembers that she saw him at a party at a LA hotel.
• Behrooz jumps Tariq with his shovel. He beats him until he is told that it wasn’t Marwan who ordered his killing, it was his father.
• CTU meets with a McLennen-Forster represenative who tells them that the briefcase contained a nuclear power plant skeleton key. The override would allow anyone to take control of any nuclear power plant in the United States. Jack realizes that the internet trial was a Trojan horse to mask taking control of the plants.
• Marianne finally reveals herself as the mole. She makes a call to someone telling that CTU has found out about the override.
