Key Moments:

• Erika is involved in Sean’s molish ways.
• Jack and Renee are in the back of a cop car. She gives him shit for putting Marika in danger.
• Dubaku berates and manhandles Marika but still tosses her into his car.
• Jack and Renee are released and they speed off with Chloe’s directions.
• Jack cuts through a park to catch up with Dubaku. A pretty sweet car chase ensues until crashing into a cab cuts off Jack. Marika sees this and grabs the steering wheel and crashes Dubaku’s SUV spectacularly. Jack and Renee run to the accident. Jack kills Dubaku’s guard and takes Dubaku out of the wreckage. Renee tries to free Marika but the SUV is on fire. Jack tries to pull her away but she pulls her gun on him. He jumps into the wreckage and frees Marika so the 2 of them can get her out. The SUV goes boom behind them. Jack calls for an ambulance for Dubaku but Marika is dead and Renee is sad.
• Bill tells Taylor that Jack captured Dubaku. He wants to bring her back to the White House since it is the safest place. Ethan convinces her and they head back.
• Jack has Dubaku revived so he can question him. He scares the shit out of the EMTs to get his way. He tells Dubaku that the game is over and he should give Jack the names or he will hunt down Dubaku’s family. Dubaku says he has a list on him but he flatlines before giving a location. The EMTs save his life but notice that there is some metal in his chest. Jack tells them to open him up in the middle of the street! Jack digs in his chest and pulls out a data chip. Jack calls Larry and tells him that he is handing it to a helicopter pilot who will bring it to FBI headquarters in 5 minutes. Sean overhears all of this and starts scheming with Erika.
• Renee is wallowing in pity but Jack is moving on to the next step.
• Larry hands the chip to Chloe and she realizes that it will auto-erase after she downloads it.
• Sean and Erika are doing stuff in a server room. Sean updates Burnett on what he is doing to clean up his tracks.
• Chloe realizes that someone is crashing the system.
• When they finish their nefarious actions, Sean kills Erika then shoots himself in the arm as cover. Larry and Chloe walk into the server room to see the aftermath. Sean starts lying his ass off. Chloe tells Larry that the server was wiped clean.
• Larry meets with Sean after medical works on his arm. He explains everything that is going on. Chloe calls Larry to tell him that she actually did her jump and backed up her work. She is working through the files and Larry tells her to cross-reference FBI agents first. He tells Sean who immediately gets up and starts his escape from the building. He doesn’t get far. Larry yokes him against the wall but Sean responds by asking for his attorney.
• Renee has to tell Rosa that her sister is dead. She starts bringing her anger and sadness to Jack. She wants Jack to be as weepy as she is. Jack will cry when the situation calls for it not when you want him to! Jack does consent to hug and console Renee. He tells her that she will have to learn to deal with the pain and guilt but this just pisses Renee off. So Jack tells her to quit … HA! He also warns her about pulling a gun on him.
• To make sure that we never like Olivia, she begins arguing with her mother the second she walks through the door. Bill tells Taylor about the list of names Jack found. After being thanked, Bill asks Taylor to help Jack with his Senator Mayer problem.
• Jack is hanging outside on some steps as the sun fades. Tony walks up and sits next him. Jack is pissed at Tony but Tony tells him about another attack. He says this time it is Juma. He tells him about Ryan Burnett and we find out that Burnett works for Senator Mayer. Tony gets up to leave but asks for Jack’s help.
• Mayer tells Burnett that he has been called to the White House. He tells Burnett that he is coming with him. Burnett gets a text saying the operation is ready.

Ridiculousness:

• The auto-delete on the chip is such a cheap tactic. I hate their obsession with treating electronic data like its paper that can be destroyed and they would be screwed. If Chloe were so smart she would make millions of copies of everything! Which she actually does here, but not after all the tense moments of deletion.
