Key Moments:

• Bill and Chloe pull up in his pedo-van at Renee’s execution site. They start digging and clear off her face and upper body. They prep her for a shot of adrenaline. Sadly, she was dead but they brought her back to life. Damn you Bill, I hope you die for this! They tell her that they are working with Jack.
• Jack pushes Emerson to explain how he got Tony out of CTU. Emerson tells him that Henderson wasn’t trying to kill Tony but to make him appear dead so Emerson could revive him. Emerson makes a passionate speech that shows why Tony would follow him for 3 years. They reach the warehouse where the Matobos will be exchanged. Jack checks with Tony to make sure he is ready; Emerson sees them talking in the mirror. When Jack exits the van, Emerson walks up from behind, takes his gun, and holds Jack hostage. Tony immediately shoots Litvak and we get the 24 showdown. Emerson thinks Tony is trying to steal the money but Tony tells him it is about the innocent lives. Emerson won’t budge so Tony shoots him in the arm causing him to release Jack. Emerson still tries to raise his gun so Tony pops him in the neck!
• Bill has handled all kinds of idiots in his time, so he has no problem holding off bitchy Renee. Jack calls Bill with the update then he moves on to explain what is going on to the Matobos.
• Nichols tells Dubaku that he is heading off to the exchange with Emerson. Dubaku tells him to kill Emerson and his team afterwards. Nichols balks but agrees. Dubaku is still pissed that Taylor has not backed down so Nichols tells him to start looking for targets.
• Ethan tells Taylor that the device is in use again but she will not back down.
• Tony is trying to stop the bleeding in Emerson’s neck but Emerson tells him he will not get forgiveness and will have to live with this. Jack tells Matobo that all of this is an effort to capture Dubaku. Matobo is willing but doesn’t want to endanger his wife. She disagrees and wants to do it because of failing her husband in the safe room. Jack walks over to check on Tony and to tell him that the Matobos have agreed to the plan.
• Dubaku starts redirecting a plane and calls Taylor. He tells her to look out her window so she can see an explosion in the sky. Dubaku gives her 1 hour or 10,000 more will die.
• Taylor is at the roundtable hearing the hundreds of casualties from the crash. Stevens pushes hard for the withdrawal of American forces but she will not give in to terrorist demands. Taylor tells Stevens to fall in line or resign. He resigns and damns all of them. Taylor responds with a speech rallying the troops.
• Bill pulls the pedo-van up to the warehouse. Jack greets Chloe and tells her to wire up the Matobos. He blows right past Renee when she launches into her usual bullshit. Chloe wires up Matobo’s tooth with a tracking device. Bill updates Jack on the plane crash while Jack gears up. Renee finally starts to realize the world that Jack lives in.
• Woods and Ethan talk about trying to convince Taylor to back down. They agree that Henry needs to make the pitch to his wife.
• Henry is paralyzed on the couch as he watches Gedge prep. Samantha heads up to her apartment and Vossler calls Gedge. She walks in and spots Henry sitting on her couch. As she gets closer to him, she realizes something is wrong but that doesn’t stop Gedge’s knife from entering her back. Gedge flips her over and finishes the job with a second stab to the chest. Ethan calls while he is at work and Gedge lies about Henry’s whereabouts. Gedge puts Henry’s prints on the knife. When Gedge turns around, Henry starts to regain feeling in his hand.
• Tony puts the Matobo’s back in the van since Nichols is pulling up. Nichols greets Tony and is told that Emerson, Litvak, and Jack are dead. Tony is finishing the deal alone. He asks to see the diamonds before handing off the Matobos. After the confirmation, he tosses the keys to the van to one of Nichols’ thugs. When the deal is completed, Nichols signals his guy and Jack’s sniper bullet kills him before he can even pull his gun. Tony disarms the other thugs and Jack fires bullets all around Nichols to stop him from moving. Tony says now that that is behind them, let’s finish the deal. He sends Nichols off with the Matobos.
• Gedge is prepping a second floor spot for Henry to hang from. Henry continues to regain more feeling and tries to talk to Gedge. When Gedge moves him to the ledge, Henry starts choking him. They fall off the ledge and Henry chokes Gedge to death.
• Dubaku’s next target is in Ohio.
