  • Tarin Faroush (T.J. Ramini): Hassan’s head of security who ends up playing a significant role in the day’s events although he never will explain why.

Returning Characters:

None

Key Moments:

  • Jack has reached the location Chloe gave him but it wasn’t a specific house so he is doesn’t know where to go next.
  • Davros is changing into his NYPD gear. The captain calls and the shift switching is confirmed. There is an ominous moment where we don’t know if Davros is going to kill them or not.
  • Jack interrupts a local b-ball game by walking right onto the court. He is correctly given shit and threatened for this horrific social faux pas until he flashes his gun. Jack offers $100 for any information on Davros and one of the ballers steps up and points out the house. Jack goes house hunting and spots the cop through the window with a hole in his head. He kicks in the back door and explores the house. His attempt to call Chloe is stopped when Officer Mazoni knocks on the front door. Jack tries to run out the back door but is stopped by his partner Officer Lu. He tries to explain what is going on but Mazoni tasers him for his troubles.
  • A keycard to Hassan’s residence was found at Meredith’s apartment. Hastings redoubles his efforts with Meredith and she admits that Hassan gave her the card. Hastings calls Rob to get the okay to confirm this with Hassan.
  • Chloe tells Hastings that she lost contact with Jack. He refuses to send any agents to find out what happened.
  • Mazoni has tied Jack to a chair and is beating the shit out of him. His reasoning is that Jack is a cop killer and doesn’t deserve a chance to prove his innocence.
  • Davros arrives at the UN in time to hear Cole rally the troops.
  • Rob interrupts the peace negotiations so Hassan can speak with Hastings. Farhad makes one last attempt to convince Omar to deny the relationship. Hastings gets straight to the point and Omar confirms it. He believes that Meredith is innocent. Farhad is pissed. Even though Meredith is no longer a viable lead, Hastings refuses Chloe’s request to aid Jack. He even goes so far as to threaten to fire her if she leaves the building to help Jack.
  • Farhad updates Davros with the bad news but Davros says to calm down because Omar will be dead within the hour.
  • Jack breaks free of the chair he was tied to and takes down Mazoni. He reiterates who he is to Phil and tells him to call Chloe to confirm it. Phil calls the NYPD with the double homicide first.
  • Arlo decrypted a file found in Meredith’s apartment to reveal blueprints for the UN building and specs for an incendiary device. Hastings calls it in to the UN. Cole takes the call and the evacuation begins. Cole takes Hassan personally. Davros triggers some sort of bomb hidden underneath a manhole cover.
  • Omar wants to wait for his family but Tarin tells him they are minutes behind him and has to go now. Farhad says he will wait for them and Omar and Tarin hop in a limo. Farhad calls Davros with which limo Omar is in.
  • Phil takes Jack out of the back of a cop car and uncuffs him. He found out that Davors replaced the dead cop at the UN. Phil agrees to drive Jack there and Jack gets on the phone. He updates Chloe and she connects him to Cole. Jack yells at him to stop the motorcade. Cole drives like a madman to catch up with Hassan’s car. He skids in front of Hassan’s limo and Davros detonates the bomb blowing up both cars.

Ridiculousness:

  • Jack being delayed due to being tortured at the hands of the NYPD was just dumb. It reeked of time killing.

Running Totals:

Torture doesn’t mean you can’t be creative: 1(49)

  • Mazoni is old fashioned and just beats on Jack.
