Key Moments:

• Rob locks Ethan in his office and tells Brucker they need to get him medical help. Brucker tells him they will after their plan succeeds.
• Jack is leading the Hassans back to the UN while dragging Bishop along. Omar is not okay with his life being preserved over tens of thousands. Jack locks Bishop in a closet and turns to talk to Renee; Omar grabs a crowbar and knocks out Jack and pulls a gun on Renee. He frees Bishop and puts Jack and Renee in the closet. Dalia starts yelling Omar so he puts his wife and daughter in the closet. Jack wakes up and when he realizes Omar is giving himself up starts screaming that you can’t trust them. Bishop brings Hassan up to the street and opens up the waiting SUV. Hassan looks around at all the innocent people on the streets and gets in the SUV. Bishop calls Brucker and tells him that Hassan has given himself up freely. Brucker tells Rob to make the call to Samir. Hassan gets on the phone to prove it to Samir. When Hassan pushes for assurance, Samir hangs up on him. Tarin is waiting with less than a minute to go till the bomb goes off. Samir calls and Tarin stops the bomb with 7 seconds to go.
• Jack breaks the window of the closet and gets free.
• While Hastings tries to figure out why the bomb hasn’t gone off, Jack calls Chloe and asks her to connect him to the President privately. Dana sees Chloe take a call and is suspicious.
• Jack takes everyone up to the streets and sends the Hassans off to the air force base with Renee. Chloe calls and Jack has her search the security camera footage.
• While in a meeting with her roundtable, Taylor gets the call from Jack. He tells her to keep this private and updates her on everything that just happened. He ends it by saying Brucker is betraying her. He needs to know where Hassan is being exchanged. Jack gets a direction from Chloe and goes carjacking. Chloe watches this on the security camera and smirks. I love Chloe.
• Tarin sees Bishop and Hassan pull up and makes the call to Hassan. Tarin doesn’t respond when Hassan recognizes him. Bishop starts taking directions that ends with Tarin driving off with Hassan and Bishop holding a set of keys.
• Taylor has a full military guard and is told that Rob is in on it with Brucker.
• Bishop finds the van that the keys open.
• The soldiers burst into Ethan’s office and arrest Brucker and Rob. Taylor questions Rob on Hassan’s whereabouts but Rob won’t talk. His phone rings with Bishop’s update. Rob does not back down from his decision.
• Hastings updates CTU on what just took place. The techs start backtracking the Hassan exchange. Dana tries to leave the floor but Chloe calls her back.
• Jack is onsite with the bomb techs and has Bishop arrested. He also tells him that he has betrayed his President and his country. Hastings calls Jack with Hassan’s location and Jack is on the move. Cole has arrived back at CTU and interrupts Dana’s attempt to call Tarin.
• Hassan tries to talk to Tarin but they have completely different viewpoints on everything. Tarin coldly ends the conversation by saying think whatever you like but you won’t be alive to find out. Hassan just stares into the distance as a tear falls down his cheek. Aw.
• Taylor talks kindly to Ethan as he is wheeled out to his transport to the hospital. She then meets with Dalia and Kayla and offers them the ability to monitor Omar’s situation with her. Taylor thanks Renee but allows her to head back to CTU.
• Cole updates Jack on the planned takedown location. They seem to have everything covered. Dana finally tells a blatant lie so she can escape the floor. She heads to the server room to start moling. Arlo followed her because he is suspicious so Dana lies her ass off to get rid of him. She finally calls Tarin to warn him and tells him to pull into a nearby parking garage.
• 24 turns into a car commercial as Jack drives really fast and we get some weird angles showcasing the car.
• Hassan recognizes that Tarin is nervous a second before Tarin pulls a 180 in front of Jack and flies into a parking garage. Jack tells CTU that they have been made. The CTU agents move to cover the garage as Jack heads in after Tarin. Tarin drives to the roof of the garage closely followed by Jack. Tarin’s plan is to speed off the roof of the garage so he can crash and die. Good plan. Jack checks the wreckage and doesn’t find Hassan. Hassan is being drugged and dumped into the trunk of another car in the garage. A woman gets behind the wheel and drives off. Jack finds Tarin’s phone and calls Renee. He tells her there is a mole in CTU and wants her to work with Chloe when she gets back to CTU.
• Hassan is driven out of the garage with no problems.
