Characters Introduced:
- Robert Ellis (Wade Williams): Palmer and Bauer’s black ops contact that has a very short lifespan.
- Milo indentifies Alexis Drazen has one of the new assassins.
- After Chappelle stalls him for too long, Palmer makes a call going over Chappelle’s head to gain access to Jack. Funny thing about David making calls dealing with Chappelle’s head …
- Jack walks into a room and looks up (and up and up since Haysbert is about a foot taller than Sutherland) to see David Palmer waiting for him. Palmer lays into him about wanting Palmer dead until Jack responds about all he’s done to save Palmer’s life. This was a fantastic scene for these 2 actors.
- Jack and David start investigating Operation Nightfall, which we find out was exactly 2 years ago to the day and involved Jack leading a squad into Serbia and killing Victor Drazen. They turn to the man who put the squad together, Robert Ellis, for help.
- Teri is pregnant.
- Ellis sends Jack and David a file about Drazen. They learn that Drazen’s wife and daughter were killed in the operation. Palmer immediately sends more protection for Teri and Kim.
- During Teri’s debrief, she notices the way Nina answers questions about Jack and straight out asks her if she slept with Jack. With no room to maneuver, Nina is forced to admit the truth.
- David big dogs Chappelle and has Jack reinstated. This happens right in front of Green, which is awesome.
- While talking to Jack, Ellis is garroted in the bathroom.
- After having a conversation with Jack where she does not tell Jack about the pregnancy, Teri suddenly lies down and stares into the distance. And so begins the worst storyline in the history of 24, hold on tight it is only gonna get worse from here.
- After finding the pregnancy test, Kim decides to yell at her mother for not asking her permission to get pregnant again. Really today is the day to have this conversation?
- Teri and Kim sit down for a meal. Characters eating really confuse me.
